Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including: backhoes, bulldozers, trackhoes, skid steers, loaders, and more.
- Excavate to precise dimensions per construction drawings, sketches, and grade markers.
- Perform backfilling and grading operations to specified finish grade.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Execute safe operation of heavy equipment to move, load, excavate, grade and finish earthwork.
- Perform a range of site activities such as:
- Road building
- Fine grading and finishing
- Sloping and banking
- Backfilling and trenching
- Demolition
- Stockpiling
- Road surface maintenance
- Utility excavation/installation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience operating heavy equipment for underground utility and/or dirt work projects.
- Prior experience in heavy civil construction environments.
- Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safe operating procedures.
- Ability to read construction drawings and follow grade markers.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills – able to collaborate with foremen, operators, and laborers.
- Safety-conscious mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Schedule:
- Full-time | Monday to Friday
- Typical 10-hour shifts, based on project needs
Work Location:
- Greater Longview, TX Area – Primarily regional project sites with occasional travel based on project scope. Travel support and per diem provided when necessary.
