Horizontal Directional Drill Operator

Are you a skilled Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Operator with an expert understanding of machine controls and locating equipment? Are you ready for a high-travel role where precision drilling, efficiency, and safety drive success?

B.H. Inc. is seeking a dedicated HDD Operator to join our team. This pivotal role is based in the Wasatch Front, UT, but requires heavy travel to various project sites for extended periods at a time. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $25.00 – $39.00 per hour, earned and paid weekly, commensurate with experience, plus project specific Per Diem for travel. The schedule is typically Monday–Friday, averaging 50–60 hours per week, providing significant overtime and earning potential.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a proactive HDD Operator who meets the following:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an HDD Operator required.

• Proficiency in operating HDD equipment, including machine controls, tooling systems, and locating equipment. Extensive knowledge of HDD techniques, ground conditions, and utility locating principles.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must be prepared to travel extensively for extended periods of time.

• Self-driven, organized, safety-conscious, thorough, and able to think analytically for problem resolution.
