Duration: 9-10 months, but potential to be converted full time
Responsibilities:
Implement and continuously improve the project safety requirements based on E&C procedure and site activities such as construction, erection & commissioning.
Issue work permits and monitor the safety of the work environment
Execute safety emergency incident protocol if in case of any emergency
Must be available to work rotating shifts (day or night)
Maintain the site working manpower counting records
Perform construction and site safety management trainings for E&C Employees
Identify the client's HSE requirements to be implemented in the project HSE organisation
Support the contractors to implement the HSE system, according to Air Liquide HSE requirements
Identify the site HSE hazards and support the preparation the HSE documents related to new projects
Support/lead investigations and analysis of safety events, maintain reporting
Ensure safety campaigns are deployed on the construction sites and support their implementation
Perform on-site HSE audits/inspections to ensure proper operational and safe working practices are maintained.
Based on audits and events, capitalize with elaboration or update of E&C standards, and improve the Site HSE Management System.
Requirements:
Higher education in the field of HSE or related
Certified OSHA 30 or above
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Field of Construction HSE,
Fluent in English
Qualified to provide regulatory and other safety training (e.g. general site safety, work at height, work in confined space, scaffolding acceptance, road safety, safety leadership, Locking out/Tagging out, Electrical safety, safety in commissioning),
Technical understanding of construction, chemical & gas safety and risks,
Basic technical knowledge of the typical risks related to engineering and construction products, services, technologies and installations,
Knowledge of project execution including construction sites, and/or manufacturing shops.
