Kendrick Mechanical Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Residential Maintenance Technician to deliver exceptional service and repair for residential air conditioning systems. Your role will be pivotal in upholding our company's high standards and ensuring customers receive a top-tier experience that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform service and repairs on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Accurately diagnose issues and provide effective repair and replacement solutions.
  • Read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure proper installation and repairs.
  • Use a variety of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques to resolve system issues.
  • Make informed repair and replacement decisions to optimize system performance.
  • Apply basic ductwork principles to ensure efficient airflow.
  • Implement air balancing techniques for optimal system performance and comfort.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and personable demeanor.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of HVAC service and repair experience required.
  • NATE Certification is a plus.
  • EPA Certification is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Must pass a background check, drug test, and license check.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in repair and replacement decisions based on diagnostics.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues, solutions, pricing, and scheduling with customers.
  • Comfortable using an iPad for scheduling, daily notes, collecting payments, and customer updates.
  • Understanding of basic ductwork and air balancing principles for efficient system performance.

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends, overtime, and evenings as needed)
