Fluor is seeking new grad candidates for the I-35 Capital Express South project in Austin, TX.
The approximately 9-mile project will add two non-tolled high-occupancy vehicle managed lanes in each direction along I-35 from U.S. 290 West/State Highway 71/Ben White Boulevard to State Highway 45 Southeast. Fluor’s scope includes a combination of at-grade and elevated lanes in the median, reconstruction of bridges and frontage roads, the addition of a shared-use pedestrian and bicycle path, and enhanced safety and mobility improvements.

in design-build execution provides high-value solutions for bridges, highways, rail and transit systems, and
toll roads.
Provide support to the jobsite by providing technical guidance to craft and staff in order to fulfill the project requirements.
• Receive and distribute project design documents
• Perform surveillance/examinations, if required, to ensure that the Quality objectives are being met for the project
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Other duties as assigned• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and no required previous years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required• Interest in Infrastructure / Heavy Civil Industry
• Typically has one (1) year of project experience
• Completion of BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management degree within previous 12 months
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Previous internship experience
• Leadership and/or participation in extra-curricular campus activities
• Ability to speak/read multiple languages
• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets• Field based entry level position
• Participate in Fluor University
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
