We are seeking Sr. Electrical Engineer that has expertise in instrument and control design. Must have experience in designing controls systems that meet ISA 84.
*Some of the scopes of work are a design that allows for remote and local fan controls with use of new/existing soft starters and variable frequency drives, preparing scopes of work for pneumatic building ventilation system upgrade to DDC as well as developing a phased approach to the system replacement, developing a physical data network cabling system for classified and unclassified computing/phone systems, designing a new campus public address system, field support to various controls systems which may include configuration of data switches, web relays, RTUs and associated computing devices. *The engineer will be required to prepare design drawings, specifications, review vendor submittals, and implement designs in the field and support acceptance testing. *Experience with nuclear facilities is preferred.
This position can be remote with some travel as needed. Must be US Citizen.
Education and Experience: *Bachelor of Science in Electrical (Power) Engineering with a minimum of 8 years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects required.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering design.
