NOVA Engineering is seeking a summer Intern looking to build a career in Building Envelope & Facilities Consulting in our Kennesaw, GA, office. The ideal candidate will be an Architectural, Building Sciences, Construction, or Civil Engineering major. We seek a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project coordination and internal meetings
- Work with consultants on field investigations and reporting
- Prepare technical documentation using AutoCAD or Revit
- Interpret building codes and participate in construction phase tasks
- Support testing activities, including water leak testing
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Architecture, Building Sciences, Civil Engineering, or Construction - related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Interest in learning AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 pounds on a regular basis
- A valid, clean driver’s license, as travel to job sites is required
- Local to Kennesaw, GA
