BASIC: Β Troubleshoots and resolves both hardware and software issues regarding network connectivity, printer, and PC issues. This person will assist the primary point of contact with the Help Desk ticketing system. This position serves as the primary point of contact for existing IT vendors and is responsible for the procurement of new vendors. It requires strong expertise in project management and the successful implementation of IT projects.Β  This position will be responsible for various administrative tasks for all company divisions and assisting and supporting the department managers as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work closely with employees to resolve network, software, or hardware issues.
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 suite functionality (i.e.: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Collaborate with management and external vendors to facilitate the implementation of new business solutions.
  • Clearly communicate project progress and any changes to management.
  • Ability to learn new and industry specific technologies with little or no direction.
  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • PC maintenance including software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Manage vendor coordination for company phone, copiers/printers, etc.
  • Assist with a variety of administrative, technological and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with project coordination throughout all phases of a project.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4+ years of IT experience.
  • Work great under pressure
  • Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
  • Be trusted with confidential or HIPAA related information.
  • Ability to take assigned projects to successful competition.
  • Great attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
EDUCATION:
  • Associate Degree in IT (Preferred), high school or equivalent (Required). Four plus years IT support required. Years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
