Kiewit Technology Group is looking for an intern to assist the IT Financial Management team with Finance, Software and Contracts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to accounts payable, reporting, expiring contracts, software analysis/assistance as needed and purchasing. The IT Financial Management team is a very fun, dynamic team. We work closely with technology leadership and have a lot of responsibilities servicing the Kiewit Technology Group for everything with respect to Finance and Contracts.

• Coordinate and perform multiple transactional routines in A/P, Payroll, and Reporting
• Troubleshooting accounting (invoice research), purchasing, and taxes
• Purchasing and A/P assistance/review such as, shopping carts, purchase orders, vendor setup, payables processing, and goods receipts
• Coordinating and submitting cost adjustments and month end cost reviews
• Work alongside information technology personnel and Kiewit Business Services
• Maintaining and updating process documentation
• Assistance with Ad Hoc Reporting
• Work on Expiring Contracts
• Process Statements of Work
• Critical thinking and time management skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookups)
• Positive attitude, accountable, willing to learn and team player
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to learn new systems, when necessary
