Junior Project Scheduler – Construction

We are currently seeking a Construction Scheduler with Commercial Construction experience to join our team in supporting multiple large commercial construction projects. This position is a junior level role that will grow under our Scheduling Director.

This is an onsite position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Have a basic understanding of scheduling techniques and best practices

• Ability to create and maintain a non-resource loaded Primavera P6 schedule with minimal assistance and basic logic ties

• Help run meetings to update the construction schedule via job walks and/or superintendent live updates

• Update the schedule efficiently

• Create easy to read reports

• Quickly and efficiently identify variance from previous baselines

• Filter work by various trades, time frames or areas in order to create custom reports for the team to utilize in their day to day activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred but not required)

• Ideal candidate would have minimum 3 to 5 years of field experience as a PE or Assistant Superintendent on Commercial Construction projects

• P6 experience is ideal (we can train the ideal candidate)

• The ideal candidate will need to have outstanding communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and time management skills; and coordinate the development and ongoing management of all aspects of the schedule with project supervision, owners, and subcontractors/vendors.

• Above all have a strong desire to learn and grow

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to lift and carry office supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds
