Preload, LLC has seventeen (17) job openings for the position of Laborer at the Company’s operation in Arcadia, OK. The address of the worksite is: 801 S Post Rd, Arcadia, OK 73007. This is a temporary, full-time, peak load position. The dates of employment: April 3, 2023 until October 15, 2023.
Job Duties:
Qualifications: Requires at least 3 months of experience as a Concrete/Cement Finisher (commercial), Concrete/Cement Mason (commercial), Construction Laborer/Worker (commercial), Concrete Laborer (commercial), Scaffolding Operator (commercial), Concrete Carpenter (commercial), or a similar commercial construction occupation. No other special education or training requirements apply.
Special Requirements: Requires post-hire, pre-employment drug screen (costs paid by employer). Must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor; regularly required to stand, lift & carry heavy objects, and operate power tools. Must be comfortable with heights, as work must often be performed on scaffolding and tall ladders. Outdoor work required, occasionally in extreme heat or cold (variable weather conditions apply).
Terms & Conditions of Employment: Salary is no less than $21.01/hour, and may be as high as $22/hour depending on tenure with employer, prior experience, and/or performance. In addition, subsistence (“per diem”) is paid during period of employment (paid monthly, $2,415/month). Medical insurance is available after 60 days of employment (employer contributes 60% of costs, while employee is responsible for 40% of costs). No other benefits are offered. Employer will NOT provide or assist workers with securing housing, lodging, or daily transportation to and from work site.
This is a full-time position, meaning that each Laborer will work AT LEAST 35 hours/week. Shifts will be available Mon-Sat 6a – 3p or 7a-4p. Employees are permitted a total of 1 hour of break each workday (15-minute mid-morning break, 30-minute lunch, and 15-minute mid-afternoon break). Overtime is occasionally available, and may be required at times, paid at standard 1.5x rate ($31.52/hour - $33.00/hour). Some weekend and/or holiday work may be required.
Pay is biweekly, calculated based on a single workweek. Employer will make all deductions required by law; no other deductions from employee paychecks will be made. The offered wage is equal or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage or the federal, state, or local minimum wage. There are no other wage offers pertaining to this job.
On-the-job training will be provided. Employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
The employer guarantees three-fourths of the total number of work hours beginning with the first workday after arrival of the worker or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration of the date specified in the work contract (e.g., 315 working hours guaranteed within 12 week periods).
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Subsistence will be at least $15.46 per day of travel, up to a maximum of $59.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. Employer will provide or pay the reasonable costs for lodging where lodging is necessary. Employer will reimburse worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker.
