The Landscaping Technician focus specializes in the general upkeep of the external grounds of the firm's facilities, such as lawn care, plant care, tree care, and regular patrols to check on conditions. Other duties including but not limited to general internal/external facility maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the upkeep of the external grounds of the organization's facilities.
- Plants and cares for flowers and shrubbery.
- Maintains lawn and sprinkler system
- Maintains lawn equipment
- Patrols grounds to check on conditions.
- May be responsible for coordinating efforts of grounds keeping vendors.
- Supports maintenance team as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Education:
- GED or High School Diploma
Experience:
- Experience with lawn service equipment
- Experience with lawn sprinklers
- Experience with basic facilities maintenance equipment
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment as it pertains to landscaping and maintenance
