Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead landscaping crews on various job sites.
- Read and implement landscape plans, including plant layouts, irrigation systems, and hardscape features.
- Ensure the proper installation of sod, trees, shrubs, mulch, gravel, and outdoor structures.
- Install and troubleshoot irrigation systems and drainage solutions.
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, trenchers, compactors, and hand tools.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments on-site.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards.
- Train and mentor landscaping crew members to ensure consistent performance and safety.
- Track materials used and job progress; complete daily logs and time records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of landscaping experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in reading and executing landscape blueprints.
- Experience with irrigation systems, grading, and hardscaping.
- Knowledge of native and climate-appropriate plant material.
- Capable of operating landscaping equipment and power tools.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
