Lead Contracts Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Lead Contracts Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that construction contracts are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of our business. Essential Job Functions:
- Review, analyze, draft, and process construction contracts and amendments according to established guidelines
- Ensure all construction contract information is accurate and complete, including terms, conditions, and key data points
- Review proposed changes from subcontractors and draft amendments to be incorporated into the subcontract
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal departments and external parties to verify contract details and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain and organize contract files and records in a systematic manner
- Assist in tracking contract status, deadlines, and renewals
- Support the contract management team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
- Support and guide contracts team members, including mentoring, assisting with performance feedback, coordinating workload, and facilitating training opportunities
Education & Experience
REQUIRED
- Associate Degree or higher required
- Previous experience in contract processing, legal, business or finance transactions, or related roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.); Adobe Acrobat Pro; Google Suite (Mail, Drive, Docs, and Sheets) and Smartsheet's
- Commitment to protecting confidential information
- Ability to lead, manage, and support the development of team members
PREFERRED
- Bachelor Degree
- Prior employment in the construction industryΒ
