Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing amenities and available units while creating a personalized experience for each prospect.
- Answer questions and provide accurate information about leasing terms, pricing, and property policies.
- Assist in processing lease applications and conducting background checks with attention to detail and integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and follow up activities.
- Coordinate move in and move out processes, ensuring a smooth and positive transition for residents.
- Support resident retention efforts through effective communication, relationship building, and timely service.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and well presented community environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a combination of an Associate’s Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience or a High School diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience will be required. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their CALP designation.
- Prior experience in property management, leasing, sales, or customer service is required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Proficiency in property management software, Entrada or Yardi is preferred and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid state issued driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds and fifty (50) with assistance.
- Regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, meetings or other situations necessary for the completion of some or all of the daily responsibilities.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend.
