Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation support and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills. This role requires a proactive individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive secretarial and clerical support to attorneys.
• Efficiently manage and maintain attorneys’ calendars, scheduling depositions, meetings, mediations, and hearings.
• Handle document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• E-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Distribute correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular, or certified mail.
• Facilitate communication with clients effectively.
• Coordinate and set up Court Calls or Zoom sessions for hearings.
• Undertake other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience is required, with trial experience preferred.
• Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts is preferred.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Ability to handle a demanding workload in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both with clients and coworkers.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
