Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous maintenance and make ready experience, preferably in the multi-family industry.
• HVAC experience preferred; EPA certification (Type II or Universal) a plus
• Proficiency in general apartment maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and other building systems
• Ability to take after-hours calls
• Basic tools and reliable transportation required
• Effective communication skills for interactions with residents, employees, and vendors
• Physical ability to walk the property regularly, climb stairs and ladders, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work in various weather conditions and heights
• Willingness to adhere to OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee all buildings, grounds, and amenities
• Complete service requests and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy
• Promptly respond to repair requests, including after-hours emergencies
• Manage the care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations
