Key Responsibilities:
- Apartment Maintenance: Perform general apartment repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.
- Service Requests: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies.
- Property Upkeep: Maintain the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Inventory & Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained.
- Compliance: Follow OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- HVAC Experience Required; EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred
- Proven experience in apartment maintenance or the multifamily housing industry
- Ability to perform after-hours on-call duties
- Basic tools and reliable transportation required
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with residents, employees, and vendors
- Physical ability to perform tasks like walking the property, climbing stairs and ladders, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations
