Make Ready Analyst Supervisor – Metronet

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Make Ready Analyst Supervisor is responsible for analyzing make ready recommendations from pole owners; communicating findings to appropriate parties and approving final make ready recommendation responses.  This is to be accomplished while maintaining full compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local rules and regulations and company-established standards.  The Sr Make Ready Analyst must thoroughly understand all relevant issues, time-lines and priorities so that key internal and external stakeholders are appropriately identified and involved.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Read and understand design maps, engineering reports, and construction standards to avoid safety or hazardous concerns
  • Determine the appropriate approach to remain within budget and be compliant with building standards for pole owners
  • Working closely with project directors, construction managers and OSP teams on Project Budgets to ensure we are making the correct Make Ready Analyst decisions on their projects
  • Act as department expert and answer questions from the analysts regarding new pole owners or situations involving more detailed involvement
  • Review and stay current with all Federal, State and Local rules to ensure Metronet is remaining within standards
  • Ensure invoice QC and processing with AP is completed in support of supervisor
  • Develop and continuously improve an efficient Make Ready process – including all documentation of any pole owner MR costs for certain items, prices for PCOs, etc
  • Remain current and provide training/updates to the Make Ready team and other departments as necessary
  • All other duties as assigned

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
  • 10+ years of Telecommunications Field experience is preferred
  • Previous experience managing or leading teams preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
