The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team as a Marketing Coordinator! In this role, you'll support the division's marketing strategy and plan, working closely with our marketing and sales teams to execute community-specific marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop community strategies and participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Coordinate events such as grand openings, special events, tradeshows, chamber events, and realtor activities, ensuring smooth vendor management and logistics.
  • Manage event details including vendor commitments, food/beverage orders, invoice processing, and setup arrangements.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of communities and model centers and oversee the upkeep of community signage and facilities.
  • Work with Corporate Marketing to secure marketing materials and creative signage for events and campaigns.
  • Maintain marketing assets such as price sheets, site maps, brochures, and digital content for community websites featuring interactive floor plans and virtual tours.
  • Conduct model home inspections to ensure readiness for public viewing.
  • Create and update community web pages with photography, community highlights, pricing, floor plan details, drone videos, and virtual tours.
  • Prepare engaging content for the company’s Corporate Social Media platforms, with a strong focus on Instagram (capturing high-quality photos, videos at company events, team activities and project milestones)
  • Collaborate closely with corporate social media team and divisional sales team to ensure content aligns with brand standards and effectively represents divisional initiatives and events.
  • Update MLS systems and provide weekly inventory updates for Realtors.
  • Assist with the marketing calendar, maintain traffic reports, and monitor media advertising campaigns with KB agency to generate leads and drive traffic goals.
  • Purchase and maintain promotional marketing items. Ensuring the marketing closet/inventory is organized and/or assist with retrieving inventory at the warehouse.
  • Administrative support with mail distribution, scheduling couriers, processing invoices, and maintaining monthly marketing expenses.

What You Bring

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or communications (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a professional environment.
  • At least 2 years of prior marketing experience (preferred), with homebuilding or residential real estate experience being a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMS and social media platforms (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
  • A strong sense of urgency and a bias for action.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Work flexible 8-hour days with occasional overtime and weekend events.
  • Conduct business ethically and professionally with potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. 
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to move about work location.
  • Ability to drive/travel as needed to tour KB Home communities.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs.
  • Ability to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.
  • Ability to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio).   
  • Periodically works in outdoor weather conditions (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales).
  • Position is located on-site at the division office. #LI-onsite
