Tavacon, LLC is a Commercial General Contractor that is expanding our customer base by growing our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) divisions serving North Texas. We specialize in providing innovative solutions to commercial construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Electrician and Estimator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects.

As the Master Electrician and Estimator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the electrical systems we deliver meet the highest standards of quality and compliance while providing accurate and competitive estimates for projects.

Master Electrician Duties:

  • Oversee and manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial projects.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.


Estimator Duties:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical components of MEP projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to identify electrical work requirements.
  • Research and analyze historical data, vendor pricing, and market trends to ensure competitive bidding.
  • Licensure: Active Master Electrician license in the state of Texas (required).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical work, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or estimator role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
