Reports to: Director of Workflow Optimization and Production
SUMMARY: This position partners with the supply chain and the sales department in the management of orders and product availability. Working with inventory counts, reports, sales orders and workflow, the Master Scheduler will ensure that inventory levels are maintained, product shipments are processed, order assembly is scheduled and completed, cost is minimized, and customer’s needs are met. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages planning, scheduling, and coordination of key daily sales orders for Supply Chain and Sales
Oversee the scheduling department to ensure correct product is produced as planned and fulfillment orders are received
Coordinate communication between the sales department and supply chain to ensure any discrepancies shortages are documented and corrected
Work to continuously improve the inventory system and material movement to assess root cause analysis, approve and review fabricated part numbers within the ERP system, and ensure the correct counts of inventory are maintained and documented
Oversees the order tracking process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with theorganization’s customer service standards and Satellite’s procedures
Review sales orders to ensure orders are fully entered correctly
Flag suspect orders and schedule meetings with necessary departments to discuss possible issues
Ensuring the workflow coordinators align with the operation supervisors of each location to meetcustomer’s needs
Supervise the workflow coordinators in the scheduling of unit assembly to be consistent with the salesorder priorities
Manage the process improvement for development of OTB inventory forecasting with each division
Create, manage, and update necessary reports to ensure accuracy of accounts
Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position manages and coordinates the work of the workflow coordinators
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors’ Degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in production planning, inventory counts, and product management
Experience within the portable restroom industry a plus
Technical capacity
Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks
Thoroughness and detail oriented
