OSI/ASPENTECH MONARCH PROJECT ENGINEER

Our Client is seeking a qualified OSI/AspenTech monarch Project Engineer in Alpharetta, GA or Sugar Land, TX, responsible for programming, system configuration, system documentation, factory acceptance testing, start-up and commissioning, and support activities for existing and new installation monarch SCADA systems and its additional modules and platforms.

Qualifications
 B.S. in a Technical Field with 3+ years' applicable work experience with OSI/AspenTech monarch system is required
 Platform experience and proficiency with the following is desired:
a. Additional PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA platforms
b. Electrical Protection Relays (Multilin, SEL)
c. Historian systems
d. Other (Omni Flow Computer, ROC, Presets)
 Strong proficiency with Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC communications protocols
 Solid grasp of P&ID's, control panel wiring drawings, and field wiring diagrams
 Knowledgeable of external notification systems (text, email, mobile app, etc.)
•Familiarity with DeviceNet and/or Profibus communications protocols
Responsibilities
 Develops and updates project and product documentation, to include system configurations, networking diagrams and information, system architectures, and other critical project deliverables
 Execute project delivery and implementation activities in support of approved scopes work to design, configure integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems with the OSI/AspenTech monarch SCADA system.
 Participates in the development of logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narrative
 Participates in the development and/or review of control panel design packages, field wiring diagrams, conduit & cable schedules, and associated E&I package deliverables
 Attends field verification and user requirements gathering walkdowns and meetings
 Executes unwitnessed and witnessed factory acceptance testing
 Executes field start-up and commissioning, including support of troubleshooting activities both in person and remotely
 Contributes to and participates in client training
 Provides best possible response after hours support for internal/external clients as required
 Works with applicable Senior Engineering Lead(s) and Project Manager(s) to ensure quality of deliverable, budget adherence, etc.  Keeps Project Manager(s) informed of progress, issues, need for change order, etc.
 Travel +/- 25% with willingness to travel via air

Physical Requirements
 Sitting in office space for a standard workday (8-10 hours, with breaks as needed)
 Travel by car to remote locations for up to 5 hours
 Travel by plan to locations for flight times up to 5 hours
 Kneeling/bending to investigate and document control panels and wiring
 Standing/walking around pipeline, terminal, and plant locations for up to 10-12 hrs per day, to include up and down stairs/ladders to platforms and/or tanks and over dike walls, as needed to inspect and document instrumentation and wiring
 Outdoor work locations may exist in difficult climates (e.g., summer in Texas and winter in Wyoming) while wearing PPE
