Paint Department Manager

Job Duties are including but not limited to:
- Overseeing daily industrial painting operations, including surface preparation, coating application, and curing in industrial environments
- Planning, scheduling, and managing painting projects to meet production timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Supervising, train, and lead painting crews; ensure proper staffing levels and skill development
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies
- Coordinating with project managers, maintenance teams, and clients to scope work and resolve field issues
- Managing material procurement, inventory, and equipment maintenance for painting operations
- Enforcing coating specifications, inspection requirements, and quality control standards
- Tracking labor hours, job costs, and productivity; provide regular reporting to management
- Supporting bidding and estimating efforts by providing accurate labor and material input
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of industrial coatings, surface prep methods, and application techniques
- Experience in refinery, plant, power generation, or heavy industrial settings
- Proven leadership and crew management experience
- Ability to read and interpret coating specifications and project documentation
Salary: $80,000-$90,000 DOE.
