Part-Time Office Assistant
Industry: Concrete Construction
Schedule: 15-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations within our concrete construction company. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. The Office Assistant will provide general office support to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner
- Preparing and sending correspondence, including letters and emails
- Making outbound phone calls as needed
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Creating, editing, and formatting documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Copying, scanning, and filing documents
- Assisting with job-related paperwork and documentation
- Supporting office staff with general administrative duties
- Maintaining organized filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Other basic office duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Professional demeanor and dependable attendance
Preferred:
- Prior administrative or office experience
- Knowledge or experience in the concrete or construction industry
Work Hours
- 15-30 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling within business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
