Parts Production Helper

Overview: Met-Con Inc. is a structural metals fabricator seeking a hardworking and motivated Part Production Helper to join our team. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to develop trade skills, with advanced potential within the Parts Department.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Sort, organize, and stage parts
• Grind, mark, and distribute materials
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Assist with inventory tracking and material staging
• Prepare parts for production or shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform basic quality checks on parts
• Support other shop departments as needed
• Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Follow instructions and work independently
