Since 1996, RQ, LLC has been a recognized leader in the commercial and government Design-Build sector. We have grown to maintain a nationwide presence, with active projects spanning coast to coast, including Georgia. Our field operations teams support projects across the United States, working on-site to ensure successful delivery. We specialize in fast-track new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a strong focus on Department of Defense work.

We are looking to hire skilled Pipefitters to join our Mechanical team for ongoing projects at King's Bay Naval Base, GA and the surrounding area. All work is performed on the military installation and is compensated in accordance with the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.

Pipefitters will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and planning of piping systems on active construction sites, ensuring all work meets applicable codes and standards. This role requires the technical application of pipefitting principles and the use of proper tools and equipment. All tasks must be completed while following required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $20.94-$46.25 per hour DOE

Requirements for this position include:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education for this position
  • 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter in a commercial or facilities operations setting is ; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred
  • Mechanical Pipe Installation preferred
  • Deep underground experience preferred
  • Start-up and Energizing Experience (Boilers, Chillers) preferred
  • Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card is preferred
  • Current Welding certificate is preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications preferred
