Randall Construction – Prefabrication <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>department is currently seeking top\-tier <\/span><\/span>Pipefitters <\/span><\/span><\/b>to work in our Shop in <\/span><\/span>Apopka, FL<\/span><\/span><\/b>. We have 3 \- 4 month project focusing on stainless steel piping. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

This is a full\-time on\-site role for Pipe Fitters located in Apopka, FL. The Pipe Fitters will be responsible for fitting pipes to specifications, examining work product for defects, and ensuring conformance with specifications.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Fit stainless steel, steel & various alloys piping for plumbing\/mechanical applications.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Desired Qualification Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

• Experience fitting stainless steel piping<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting techniques<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Ability to read and interpret spool drawings and technical detail data sheets. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Must be able to pass a brief verbal pipe fitters test during interview.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
•  <\/span><\/span><\/span>Excellent knowledge of Fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Power Piping <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem\-solving skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Communication: Effective English or Bi\-lingual (English\/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills are a must have.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Safety: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least <\/span><\/span>50 pounds<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>You must also be able to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>bend, stretch, crouch, and lift<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> as required by the job<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
