Pre-Construction Manager

Wood is looking for a Pre-Construction Manager, the requires someone with extensive experience in pre-construction activities of complex construction projects, including supporting or managing planning, design, budgeting, and scheduling, before the construction process begins.

The Preconstruction Manager contributes to the preconstruction process including proposals, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management. 

Qualifications:

• Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
• Preference for candidates located in NC, but candiates from all locationas are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge, skills and experience.

• Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry
• Previous experience as a Pre-Construction overseeing the initial phases of a construction project, including planning, design, budgeting, and scheduling, before the construction process begins.
• Able to establish and maintain a positive and effective customer relationship, ensuring payment terms are met, and communicating any delays
