Process Engineer / Senior Product Analyst

We're partnering with a global health-tech scale-up with roots in South Africa, delivering agentic AI systems into real production healthcare environments in the US. These are greenfield deployments where performance, reliability, compliance, and workflow quality directly determine whether AI succeeds or fails.

We're looking for a Senior Product Analyst / Industrial Engineer to sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and the clinical + billing workflows the platform automates. You’ll turn messy real-world healthcare processes — how clinicians document visits, how coders resolve ambiguous charts, how claims move from submission to settlement — into measurable systems, product decisions, and scalable workflows the business can act on.

This role requires an industrial-engineering mindset applied to modern software products: systems thinking, process optimisation, measurement discipline, and structured problem solving. If you enjoy improving complex operations through data, design, and technology, lets chat!

• Current-state and future-state workflow maps across clinical documentation, coding, billing, and settlement processes

• Measurement frameworks and KPIs including coding accuracy, claim acceptance, denial rates, turnaround times, clinician time saved, and revenue-cycle efficiency

• Product requirements, specifications, and prioritisation inputs based on real operational pain points

• Human-in-the-loop review workflows for AI systems — escalation paths, QA checks, routing logic, and feedback loops

• Controlled experiments, A/B tests, variance analysis, and rollout measurement to validate improvements

• Operational compliance frameworks embedding HIPAA, auditability, and regulatory requirements into workflows

• Knowledge systems that capture tacit expertise from clinicians, coders, and billing specialists into repeatable standards

• Cross-functional decision making between clinical SMEs, engineering, operations, and leadership teams

• Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or another quantitative engineering discipline
• Solid experience as a Product Analyst, Process Engineer, Senior Business Analyst, or Operational Excellence roles
• Experience modelling complex human-in-the-loop workflows and improving outcomes through data
• Working SQL capability with confidence analysing data independently
• Strong Excel / spreadsheet modelling and structured analytical thinking
• Excellent written communication — specifications, decision papers, requirements, and stakeholder documentation
• Ability to work with ambiguity, senior stakeholders, and specialist domain experts
• Strong systems thinking with a bias toward measurement and practical execution
