Production Associate
SpecChem, LLC supplies and services the concrete distributor network with quality construction chemicals that provide performance and value to the industry.
We are seeking an intelligent, energetic candidate for a full-time Production Associate position in our North Las Vegas, NV facility.
Job Summary: This is a full-time position. The associate will learn to operate the bagging machine and will also be responsible for packaging and stacking finished products, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring quality control and operating forklifts. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently within standard operating procedures.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:00am to 3:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Shipping and receiving
- Loading and unloading of products into and from trailers
- Package and stack finished manufactured product
- Clean and maintain work area
- Communicate with Lead Operator
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
- Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters
- Operate within standard operating procedures
- Quality control – ensure that no damaged product is sent out and no damaged raw material accepted in
- Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Stage finished product for loading
- Assist in other areas as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Quick learner, team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and write in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
- Detail oriented and quality minded
- Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Have a passion for excellence – do great work
- Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment physical exam.
