Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Production Technician II position includes the following activities. Specific duties may vary depending on the assigned area and could include other responsibilities not on this list.
Pay Rate and Schedule: The position includes the following wage extensions:
2nd Shift, Production Technician II, includes a total wage of, $18.55/hr this includes a shift differential (base extension wage of $17.55/hr + shift differential of $1.00/hr).
Additionally, you will be eligible for a comprehensive day-one benefit program, generous paid time off, and retirement benefits, as well as weekly pay.
** SECOND SHIFT HOURS: 1:00p.m.- 9:30p.m. **
As a Caterpillar Production Technician II in Victoria, TX you will:
Perform Inventory Accuracy Audits – IDA, IRA, Cycle Counts, and Discrepancy Counts
Assist in root cause investigations for inaccurate record events
Participate in diagnostics and troubleshooting activities in the inventory record accuracy space
Handle material and parts in safe manner
Perform all work in accordance with standard operating procedures
Perform all necessary documentation in timely manner
Perform all work in a manner that meets quality standards and safe job procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to work independently with little daily direction
Ability to safely perform work accurately and thoroughly

Ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information
Top Candidates will bring (preferred):
Experience using Microsoft Excel
Ability to understand robot command code
Ability to weld and/or inspect welds
Additional Details:
Compensation: L02; $17.55/hr + an additional $1.00/hr shift differential
Shift: Second Shift. 2nd Shift
Hours: 1:00p.m.- 9:30p.m., with overtime as available or required
Days: Monday-Friday
Location: Victoria, TX

Summary Pay Range:
$17.00 - $22.10Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
