The Project Coordinator is in charge of coordinating all aspects of the project life cycle, from project set-up to monthly invoicing to project completion. The Project Coordinator's primary functions include: (1) managing the objective, scope, budget, and schedule of the project, (2) coordinating meetings and facilitating communication, (3) making sure the work makes sense, is understandable by non-technical people, and that we do “Awesome Work”

Our clients include property owners & managers, developers & contractors, product manufacturers & suppliers, insurers and lawyers. Every year we work on projects as widely varying as single-family residences, multi-family projects, mixed-use developments, commercial, institutional, industrial, low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise construction.

Project-Specific Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate a portfolio of projects with differing scopes and team members
  2. Perform the First 10 Things which includes collecting, organizing, indexing and summarizing all project documents and information into the Basic Analysis
  3. Draft and maintain the Project Plan and Budget
  4. Communicate, delegate, and execute the Project Plan to the Project Team (Compare performance to the Project Plan)
  5. Coordinate Meetings (internal and external), Inspections, Mediation, Deposition, and Trial/Arbitration attendance
  6. Peer review and format reports, cost estimates, issues lists, and any published documents in conjunction with Technical Team members
  7. Compose Monthly Invoices
  8. Close the Project at completion
  9. Learn the processes for the project life cycle, then demonstrate an understanding and mastery of the processes by implementation

Qualifications

Skills:

  1. Effective communication that includes the ability to write, speak, and listen to the needs of the client and coordination of project activities
  2. A team player that is able to successfully collaborate and understand the larger collective objective of the projects
  3. Time and Task Management abilities to coordinate and accomplish tasks in a billable position
  4. Problem-solving to assess and understand the issues at hand and propose solutions
  5. Intermediate-advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and Internet Research tools

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
  2. College Degree or applicable project management certification (Scrum, CAPM, PMP) preferred
  3. An understanding of the fundamentals of various project management frameworks including but not limited to Scrum, CAPM, and PMP
  4. Experience with document management and/or writing professional reports
  5. Customer Service experience
