This role is not a Project Manager or Superintendent position.

It is a systems-first, data-first support role, designed for someone who excels at:

  • Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Documentation accuracy and organization
  • Administrative coordination within active construction projects
  • Working inside database-driven or process-heavy environments
  • Learning and maintaining project management software

As Project Coordinator / Administrator, you will provide the operational backbone that allows Project Managers and leadership to execute efficiently. Your work ensures project information is accurate, accessible, and reliable at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Project Support

  • Support Project Managers with documentation, tracking, and coordination
  • Maintain spreadsheets, logs, and reports using Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Organize contracts, change orders, invoices, and approvals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital project files

Systems & Software

  • Enter, manage, and maintain data in construction or project management software
  • Learn and support disciplined system usage (Buildertrend, Procore, JobTread, or similar)
  • Assist with template, log, and workflow consistency

Coordination & Communication

  • Assist with purchasing coordination and vendor documentation
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams to support project flow
  • Ensure information is current, accessible, and reliable when needed

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
  • 2-5+ years of experience in construction, real estate, engineering, or database-heavy environments preferred
  • High attention to detail with strong follow-through
  • Ability to learn new project management software quickly
  • Organized, dependable, and process-oriented
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
