Project Engineer – Civil | Renewable Energy Projects
12-Month Contract (Potential to Go Permanent) | Perth → FIFO

We’re looking for a driven Project Engineer to join Zenith Energy and help deliver high-impact civil and renewable energy projects across Australia.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on-site, enjoys solving real-world problems, and wants to be part of a team delivering meaningful infrastructure.
You’ll start in Perth (3–6 months) before transitioning to a FIFO role, supporting major project delivery in the field.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering civil construction works—ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.
You’ll work closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to bring complex projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on-site
- Ensure works align with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Conduct site inspections and track project progress
- Review construction documentation (drawings, RFIs, methodologies)
- Support scope development and identify gaps or risks early
- Manage contractors and assist in resolving technical issues
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Support QA/QC processes and compliance requirements
- Promote and enforce strong safety and EHS standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery
About You
You’re practical, organised, and confident working in fast-paced project environments.
You’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Solid commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Experience using project management tools (e.g. P6 desirable)
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office
- Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar)
Highly regarded:
- Experience in renewables, mining, or heavy industry
- Project management qualifications
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
