As a Project Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT you will contribute to our team by:
Project Planning & Execution: Material procurement and expediting, assistance in work planning for self-perform and work activities, oversight and mentoring of engineering staff, Project close-out: coordinates documentation - deficiencies, warranties, maintenance and final payments
Schedule: Assists with the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and cost system
Project Cost Control: Inventory control – monitors and tracks equipment and resources, labor productivity and monitors self-perform work activities
Project Document Controls & Procedures: Coordinates and reviewing drawings, submissions, specifications, changes and document control, Change management – responsible for set-up, issues documentation, prices and change administration
Subcontract Management: Subcontract administration – defines scope of work, writes subcontracts, answers inquiries, monitors progress, tracks and processes back charges
Project Administration: Prepares and tracks progress claims and estimates
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
2+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment plant or 5+ years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction
A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management or comparable
