Project Engineer – Commercial Construction
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of large-scale commercial construction projects, including schools, hospitals, and municipal buildings. This role will work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to ensure quality, scheduling, and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily project coordination, scheduling, and document control.
Support project bidding, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project timelines.
Track materials, budgets, and job cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ Years in a Project Engineering role within commercial construction
Experience with civil construction projects like schools, hospitals, or public facilities
Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be located in or willing to travel to project sites across the region
