Position Summary An ISEC Purchasing Intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting the Purchasing Department on a variety of commercial construction projects. This person will contribute to project operations, estimating, and documentation processes, and gain exposure to contract administration, vendor management, field coordination, and construction technology systems. Duties & Responsibilities:Β  Pre-Construction & Estimating Support Support Purchasing in material buyout processes and vendor management. Assist with quantity take-offs and estimates using ISEC’s proprietary estimating software. Attend pre-bid meetings, kickoff meetings, and post-bid review sessions. Collect and compare vendor quotes (RFQs) and assist in in-house pricing efforts. Review architectural drawings to identify scope and material needs. Β  Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program, preferably in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
