Key Responsibilities: • Low-Voltage  Inspections Perform quality control inspections on low-voltage systems during all phases of construction, including in-wall, rough-in, trim-out, and final. • Installation Verification Verify proper installation of low-voltage cabling, terminations, device mounting, and labeling according to design drawings, specifications, and standards (TIA/EIA, NEC, etc.). • Testing and Certification Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, signal transmission, and functionality tests for systems such as data, voice, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, A/V, and building automation. • Document Review & Compliance Review installation plans, submittals, and test reports to ensure alignment with project requirements, NEC, NFPA 70, and relevant low-voltage codes and standards. • Non-Conformance Reporting Identify, document, and report deviations from standards or specifications. Follow up on corrective actions to ensure resolution. • Coordination with Teams Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve quality issues and prevent rework. • Detailed Recordkeeping Maintain accurate QC logs, test reports, inspection records, and as-built documentation for project closeout and compliance audits. • Safety and Code Adherence Ensure all inspections and installations follow OSHA safety standards, NEC, and applicable industry best practices. • Pre-Functional Checks and Punch Lists Assist in system commissioning, perform pre-functional checklists, and support final project walk-throughs and closeout documentation.
