Job Summary:
The Reconstruction Repair Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the repair and restoration of structures or systems following damage or degradation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves leading a team of technicians and workers, coordinating resources, and implementing strategies to restore the functionality and integrity of buildings, infrastructure, or machinery. The Reconstruction Repair Lead also serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, supervisors and project managers. Key responsibilities include assessing the scope of damage, creating repair plans, supervising the execution of repairs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high levels of team performance. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to handle complex repair challenges and ensure that all reconstruction activities meet industry regulations and client expectations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Must be able to work within computer systems to report on the status of jobs, collect and organize contracts, disposals, and any and all paper documentation for each job.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducts all duties assigned to a technician
- Follows Project Manager direction on the assigned job/project
- Preparation in advance for each job; materials, equipment, team
- Daily documentation with Daily Crew Time Sheets, Vehicle Checklists, Production notes for the team, Inventory lists with pictures and documentation of preexisting damages, any breakage/damage reports for new breaks/damages
- Partners with Leadership in content retrieval per a customer request or leadership request
- Trash needs to be disposed of appropriately and to ensure there is no overflow
- Work with all team members to clean company vehicles and company equipment
- Maintain a safe job site within OSHA standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by a member of leadership
- Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Taping, applying various textures, and painting.
- Understanding general residential construction.
- Performing basic finish carpentry tasks.
- Handling physically demanding tasks, including walking, bending, crawling, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
- Reading blueprints and navigating layouts.
- Purchasing materials.
- Leading teams.
- Providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining a professional appearance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years overseeing and leading a team
- 2 years of experience in hanging, taping, and texturing drywall.
- 2 years of experience in installing cabinetry and trim.
- 2 or more years of experience in residential and/or commercial building repairs.
- Reading blueprints and navigating layouts.
- Experience in painting walls, trim, and building exteriors.
- Providing exceptional customer service.

- Experience in the water and fire restoration industry is a plus, but not required
- IICRC Certifications Preferred
- Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Physical Requirements:
- Operates mostly in the field at work sites/client locations.
- Sustained periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, or kneeling
- Handling physically demanding tasks, including walking, bending, crawling, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
- Confined or limited spaces, providing limited access or mobility at times.
- Heights are over 5 feet, when necessary.
Salary : $26.00-$30.00 plus overtime and on-call bonus
