Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of reliability concepts including the development of complete asset strategies for equipment and processes, utilizing such tools and methods as; RCA, RCM, PM development, operator basic care, predictive, vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography and other condition monitoring technologies.
- Act as primary interface with external consultants and contractors engaged in reliability initiatives.
- Monitor performance against desired results and manage as required.
- Work with plants on implementation of common reliability metrics & tracking methods.
- Ensure complete integration of the current continuous improvement activities and reliability practices.
- Provide assistance and coaching throughout implementation and sustainability phases.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Provide training and mentoring to personnel across the division.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience
College degree in engineering, reliability or equivalent professional experience. Advanced degree a plus. Minimum of five (5) years of mechanical maintenance experience. Prefer at least ten (10) years of experience in related job function. Demonstrated and proven success in a Maintenance Department supervisory, leadership role. Comprehend mechanical, electrical and reliability systems in a manufacturing environment.
