Measurement and Preparation:
- Measure floor areas accurately to determine the amount of carpet needed.
- Inspect and prepare surfaces for carpet installation, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of debris.
- Remove old flooring materials if necessary.
Installation:
- Cut the carpet to size using appropriate tools, ensuring precise and clean edges.
- Lay and secure carpet using tack strips, adhesive, and other methods as required.
- Stretch the carpet to fit evenly, avoiding wrinkles or bubbles.
- Join carpet seams using heat tape, glue, or sewing techniques to create a seamless appearance.
Finishing:
- Trim excess carpet around edges, doorways, and obstacles.
- Install carpet padding or underlayment to enhance comfort and durability.
- Perform final inspections to ensure a high-quality finish.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Address any issues or discrepancies with carpet installation.
