We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Project Coordinator to join our team in Salt Lake City or Orem, Utah. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our revenue cycle processes. You will coordinate and execute projects, manage resources, and foster collaboration across teams to optimize our financial performance.

How you will make an impact

    • Project Planning and Execution: In collaboration with RCM leaders and other key stakeholders, develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., RCM, clinical, compliance) and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and objectives.
    • Revenue Cycle Optimization: Assist with RCM related projects as needed, including data entry and organization projects, problem resolution and data analysis
    • Maintain multiple email inboxes and direct or escalate correspondence to the appropriate team members.
    • Assist with creating and maintaining presentation documents and data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership updates.
    • Creation of job aides and workflows
    • Team Coordination and Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
    • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged.
    • Serve as main point of contact and give guidance to team members included in projects, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Track and report on project performance, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
    • Maintain meticulous organization, tracking and documentation of project activities, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project deliverables.
    • Conduct regular meetings providing updates and changes to leadership and other key stakeholders.Ā 

What we are looking for

    • Associate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management and/or project management within the healthcare industry.
    • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
    • Strong preference for candidates in Utah that telecommute to office.
    • Thrives in autonomy, takes initiative and feels comfortable finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
    • Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably within a healthcare setting.
    • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
    • Ability to learn and navigate multiple project tools and platforms simultaneously.
