Roofer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Roofers for projects located in the Rathdrum, ID area. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-35/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:          

• Remove existing roofing materials, including shingles, TPO, and metal and ensuring proper disposal
• Install various roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin), and metal panels
• Prepare and clean roof surfaces before installation 
• Ensure proper sealing, flashing, and waterproofing techniques are applied
• Operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment safely
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to prevent job site accidents
• Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and on time
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and material needs

• OSHA 10 Certification; TI can provide training for qualified candidates
• Ability to work at heights and on steep slopes
• Familiarity with roofing tools and safety procedures
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of proper installation techniques to prevent leaks and structural damage
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience 
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
