Position Summary:
This position will report directly to the Safety Director and will assist in maintaining the Company’s successful and comprehensive programs related to safety, risk management, loss prevention and control. Focus will be on safety training, safety program implementation, and helping to create a culture of safety here at Satellite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect work environment for compliance with OSHA, DOT and company requirements.
- Conduct weekly Toolbox and Job Hazard Analysis assessments.
- Coordinate monthly safety meetings.
- Collect, maintain, and track safety documentation.
- Assist in accident prevention, reporting and investigations.
- Keep current with latest applicable technology and techniques.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and take initiative to address them.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment as well as individually.
- Help with new hire safety orientation and required companywide safety training.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs

Education and Experience Requirements:
- OSHA 30 Training and other safety related certifications preferred
- 2 or more years of on the job experience in a safety related position
- High School Diploma required
Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc/Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
