Safety Coordinator
Position Summary
The Safety Coordinator supports Moss Utilities’ safety operations by assisting with field safety initiatives, promoting our “Safety Always” culture, and helping ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards. This role works closely with field leadership and the Safety team to help maintain safe jobsite environments and reinforce safe work practices across all projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct routine job-site visits to monitor safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
- Support incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up corrective actions.
- Work with field supervisors to promote safe work practices and reinforce safety expectations.
- Assist with safety training, orientations, and maintaining safety documentation.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety guidelines.
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, and inspections.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction safety or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and leadership.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
