Location: Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000(+) + Discretionary Bonus (2x per year) + Company Vehicle

Safety Manager - Construction Description
Our client in the construction industry is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee their comprehensive safety program across ongoing construction projects throughout the South-Central region. The role involves maintaining and enhancing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across operations that occur in Texas (70% of projects), Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. This position will be expected to spend time at both the Dallas and Houston offices as well as routinely travel to numerous jobsites to perform onsite safety audits. Safety Manager - Construction Responsibilities
• Review, update, and manage the corporate safety program for employees across all projects
• Direct operational implementation of safety program strategies and initiatives
• Recommend policies, goals, and objectives to improve the safety program
• Conduct safety orientations, safety meetings, and formal training on safety-related topics
• Travel regularly to perform jobsite safety inspections and audits, document observations
• Perform job hazard assessments and prepare site-specific safety plans
• Keep current with federal, state, and local safety regulations and maintain compliance
• Investigate accidents, conduct root cause analysis and prepare corrective action reports
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate OSHA and client-required reports
• Collaborate with executives on safety strategies and risk assessments
• Develop site-specific safety plans for new projects
• Communicate with field and leadership teams to address safety concerns
• Establish and foster a strong safety culture across the organization
Safety Manager - Construction Qualifications
• 10+ years of professional safety experience in construction or field operations required
• 3+ years of leading, driving and implementing safety initiatives experience required
• Experience leading incident investigations and appropriate documentation required
• Proficiency with OSHA and federal safety standards and compliance required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Willingness to travel up to 75% (majority of travel in TX, overnights) required
Due to the nature of the position and projects, candidates must be able to perform physical activities that may require climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending and must be able to work on elevated structures and immediately adjacent to moving traffic.
