Scheduler
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Scheduler to assist with our preconstruction department and be a resource to project management teams in creating, updating and maintaining project schedules. You will be creating first draft schedules as we go through the preconstruction process. The Scheduler will be assisting project teams update and maintaining those schedules.
Qualifications:
- Batchelor Degree in Construction Management or equivalent required - Must have had a scheduling class and understand the concepts of building a schedule
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Project
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Building early schedules for projects in marketing preconstruction.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to optimize schedules for efficiency
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the scheduling function
- Learn and apply scheduling software and tools under the guidance of management
- Work with and support project teams in keeping project schedules current and correct
