GeoSonics, Inc., a nationally recognized seismic consulting company is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our team at our Davie, Florida location.
As a Field Technician, you will travel to various worksites to perform on-site vibration monitoring, manage installation and troubleshooting of service equipment, conduct pre/post blast inspections, prepare reports and interact with clients and customers.
Our ideal candidate is proficient in computer and technical skills. Possesses strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Has experience using video and digital cameras. Experience or degree in Geology, Earth Science, Construction or related field, preferred but not required.
*Day and some overnight travel are required as well as reliable transportation.

- Perform on-site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining and construction operations
- Manage on-site installation of service equipment
- Conduct detailed pre and post-blast inspections of homes, commercial buildings/other structures
- Report preparation
- Provide service and customer support during field visits
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Build positive relationships with current and potential customers
