About the Role:
The Senior Design and Construction (D&C) Engineer, as a member of the Operations Department, a highly skilled and specialized team within the organization, is an essential part during the procurement, implementation and operation stages of the company project portfolio. During this assignment, you will have the opportunity to contribute to tasks critical to our bidding process and collaborate to internal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and develop Alternative Technical Concepts for the Project design
Review and provide technical writing to be submitted for the proposal
Prepare BoQ for the O&M cost model
Develop long term CAPEX strategies for the O&M phase
ROW review cost model, assess the parcels needs for project implementation
Prepare/update line diagram for project connectivity
Help develop ITS/Tolling cost models and plans
Collaborate in the preparation of the Technical Annex for the D&C Agreement
Attending project meetings with partners and clients, preparing and presenting the proposed technical solutions
Provide assistance in scouting projects: D&C and O&M cost estimates
Attend meetings with Cintra’s concessions and provide technical assistance as needed
Collaborate in all internal projects and initiatives where the Operations Department participates, such as long-term forecasting of Cintra’s concessions O&M costs, benchmarking exercises, market research, or supporting other Cintra’s departments in transversal initiatives
Prepare presentations, reports, consultant/vendor comparison statements, and other necessary documents to be used within the Technical Department
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural or Transportation Engineering
4-7+ years of experience in highway or roadway design or in horizontal construction experience is required
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Availability to work in Austin, TX Cintra HQ for a duration of 90 Days (Ending in June)
